Brewing Tool

  • CIA coffee bean 20g, hot water, small weighing scale, drip kettle
  • Drip supplies (dripper, server, dedicated filter) you may use the dedicated server or may place the cup under the dripper.

Preparation for Brewing

  • Please       pre-heat the dripper and server with hot water.
  • Please place the filter on top of the preheated dripper. Put the grounded cia beans on top of the filter.
  • Place the drip set on the weighing scale and set the zero point.

Brewing

  • Pour water from the center of the grounded beans to out, then out to the center.
  • Keep the water stream thin and try not to pour the water onto the filter.
  • Pour the hot water until the weight becomes 60g. Wait for 30 seconds The process helps to emit gas within the coffee to facilitate the extraction process
  • Please pour 60g of water separately At this stage, water should not go over the filter beyond coffee beans. You can extract continuously.
  • The process ends when the weight is 300g. You may now stop pouring water

Brewing tool

  • CIA Coffee beans 20g, hot water
  • Moka Pot, Burner, Moka pot stand (for small moka pot)

Preparation for Brewing

  • Seperate the bottom of the moka pot and fill hot water to the bottom of pressure valve
  • Fill the ground beans into the filter basket. Gently press down to flatten the surface.
  • Join the top and bottom of moka pot. Using the moka pot stand, position accordingly on the burner.

Brewing

  • Please heat the moka pot with a moderate heat.
  • The pressure while boiling the water will make moist pass through the coffee layer.
  • You will see that the extracting port is opened and coffee is extracted during the process.
  • As you hear the boiling sound, coffe extraction is finished. Turn the burner off and wait for 10~20 seconds. You may pour the coffee into the cup.
  • Your special espresso made with moka pot is now completed.

Brewing Method 1

  • In order to brew with dedicated dutch device,
  • Place the ceramic filter at the bottom of the rod. Place 200g medium ground beans on the filter. Pour water to moisten the beans.
  • Place a circular paper filter on top of the filter. Place it on the dutch coffee device.
  • Pour 1.5 L of water at the top of the device.
  • Adjust the cork on the water tank so that the water drops every 3 ~ 4 seconds.
  • The amount of water drop differs on the total amount of the water at top; please check throughout the process.

Brewing Method 2

  • Put 200g of coarse ground beans in a clean glass bottle
  • Pour a liter of purified water
  • After sealing, put it in the refrigerator for 24 hours.
  • After 24 hours, filter the ground beans and only collect the brewed coffee.

Chemex

Chemex

Like the process of wine decanting, the wide bottom helps to create a rich aroma, the shallow middle prevents the aroma from escaping. The Chemex filter reduces the unwanted flavor of the coffee.

Brewing Method

  • CIA Bean 20g, Hot water, small weighing scale, drip kettle
  • Chemix classic (small), 3 cups, Chemex Filter (depending on the size, the amount of ground coffee and the final product may differ)

Preparation for Brewing

  • Pour hot water to pre-heat the Chemex device.
  • Please fold the Chemex dedicated filter and place it on the device.
  • Pour 20g of medium ground beans.
  • Place the Chemex device on the weighing scale and set the zero point.

Brewing

  • The whole brewing process is similar to that of drip coffee.
  • Pour the water from center to out, and then out to center slowly.
  • Please keep the water strem thinly, and try not to pour water onto the filter.
  • Pour 100g of water each time. Water should not go over the filter, beyond the beans. You may continuously brew the coffee while doing so.
  • The total weight should be 300g. You should not stop pouring water until you reach 300g.

The process helps the coffee to have deep aroma using air pressure. The micro filter filters unwanted tastes to produce a fresh tasting aeropress coffee. The aeropress have unique characteristics compared to other conventional coffees.

TIP

• When the pressure is too strong or too weak,
please adjust the level of pulverization.
• The appropriate pressure is the key to for creating

Brewing Tool

Preparation for Brewing

  • Place the dedicated filter onto the filter cap
  • Soak the filter cap and the dedicated filter with hot water
  • Assemble the filter cap and the chamber. Place it on the pre-heated cup. Add 18g of finely ground beans and 70g of hot water.

Brewing

  • Wait about 30 seconds and stirr about 10 times with the stirring rod.
  • Lightly soak the rubber part of the plunger and join to the chamber. When you join them, you should feel an appropriate amount of pressure.
  • Gently press down on the plunger so that it takes about 20 seconds to reach the coffee.
  • If there is an excessive amount of pressure or if the plunger loosens too easily, adjust the level of pulverization.
  • Too coarse: Level of Pulverization should be more coarse / Too weak Level of Pulverization should be finer
